6 attributes you should look out for in a man before going to the altar with him.

When relationship start out, its easy to fall head over heels right away, thinking maybe he's the one.

I've dedicated a good share of my life studying men. I've worked alongside them in several occasion, cheered beside them at sporting events and all this studying wasn't about analyzing them, but rather trying to help you understand them, the world they live in before your emotion is fully involved.

I am a man and I know what our weaknesses are and what our tenderness are. We are not perfect but we are capable of improving and growing to become a better man.

Am going to share with you the 6 attributes you should look out for in a man before going to the altar with him.

(1) self confident
Am sure you aren't expecting me to start this attributes with how handsome your man should be, of course he should be handsome but I am more interested in him being happy with who he is "short, fair and handsome" is much less important than self confident.

If he is comfortable with himself in the purest ways, if his self-confident is not based on other's opinions, he will be able to love you in ways that reach far beyond the physical attributes.

His self confidence will manifest daily because even when things get tough, he will not second guess himself in choosing you as a wife or in his ability to take care of you.

(2) Industrious
The second attributes you should look out for is how hard working your man is. If your man is industrious and hard working am sure he will be able to take care of you and your family.
If he is industrious then you both have a better chance of learning how to work and how to relate effort to outcome and expectations.

(3) Respectful
Irrespective of his handsomeness, how industrious he is, if he doesn't respect you, you have every right to turn him down.
He should respect you as a person and appreciate your design. If he does that, he will not try to dominate you and his love will always stay vibrant and surely it will survive the tough times that are sure to come.

(4) Committed
He is self confident ,industrious and respectful, is he committed? Is he ready to be committed to you more than his family? Is he capable of making your relationship strong and healthy?

Ask yourself if he's really in the relationship and he is ready to make sacrifices.
If he is distant, selfish and only care about himself and his needs, he is probably not committed.

He might not have make the decision to take you to the altar and that doesn't shows he is not committed. If he's happy to celebrate little things with you, like anniversaries, birthdays or family occasions. It shows he's keen for the relationship to keep moving forward.

(5) Joyful
You should be glad you are going to the altar with a man who makes you happy.
There is no reason to live your marriage in agony and stress, though those moments will come but they should be fleeting.

He should enjoy being with you, that a car ride across the country with him would be entertaining to you because of his ability to create happiness amidst misery. A smile on your face is worth far more than anything money can buy.

(6) Someone who challenges you.
The thought of having a prison break after marriage should never cross your mind. So you should only say yes to a man who is ready to treat you like a princess against all odds.
He is self confident, respectful, industrious and joyful, does he challenge you?

When you are challenged, you grow. If he is industrious to provide, you should be capable of managing the family budget and household finances.
He should always demand the best of you without taking away your ability to try and fail and try yet again.
The balance between expecting the best from each other while still allowing each other to be human is a talent that both of you should develop.

Which attribute do you wish to include?
