Why We Love Someone And Don't Love The Other

On this beautiful sunny day, I was excited I would be learning a new thing in class….

Our lecturer fixed us up for a 12pm Saturday class which is quite unusual…I remembered the poem I sang in my childhood days.

“Tick says the clock, Tick, tick,
What you have to do, do quick”

This poem crossed my mind when I realized I was going to be late for the lecture. I rushed to class just to realize that the lecturer is yet to arrive… Albert Einstein says and I quote “it’s better to be three hours early than to be a minute late, so I was quite happy I wasn’t late.

It took me some minutes to settle down and just to study the atmosphere… the atmosphere was vivacious with the beautiful faces and glowing lips, handsome guys with fitted shirts and jean looking enthused to receive the second lecture of the new semester.

The new thing I learnt in class is solely centered much on the question “WHY DO WE LOVE SOMEONE AND DON'T LOVE THE OTHER?” the story is based on my inferences and prediction from my six months observation.

It happened that my class representative is in a mutual relationship with my assistant class representative before we all got admitted into the institution. They dated for the first year and no one ever knew what erupted between them that led to their separation. What amazed me most, which eventually birth the question why we get attracted to someone and not to the other, is how my assistant class rep quickly got hooked up with another guy in our class..

Can love be transferred; do people understand the concept of love? Love is not a mysterious process that has no rule but the emotion your mind uses in order to bring you close to someone who can make you happy (INDIAN FILM TITLED “ ANJNA ANJNI”)

We are specially made for someone and that’s why we get attracted to someone and not to others.

Micheal Jackson is specially made for music, just envisage a world where Jackson is a boxer and Mike Tyson is a singer. Micheal Jackson loves music and that makes his vision and purpose real.

We love someone who will make our vision real while others will make a mirage… just imagine a lady who has the aspiration to be a well-known singer, you will agree with me that she would rather go into a relationship with someone who has a studio and is music oriented rather than a policeman.

The issue of purpose, vision, care, warmth, personal taste, qualities, happiness and sometimes beauty can’t be underemphasized in the affairs of love.
There are many buses out there but only one will take you to your destination.

Only one person will run with your vision, dream and dare to achieve your purpose with you and this is the invisible force that triggers our mind to love someone and don’t love others.
