The romantic love is not in the emotion. It’s a drive, it comes from the motion of the mind, the wanting of the mind, the craving of t he mind.
It is more powerful than sexual drive, you can’t kill yourself if you ask someone to sex you and they refuse to… but people live for love, die for love and kill for love.
The sexual drive evolve to get you out of a range of partners but romantic love makes you focus your main energy on a partner at a time, thereby conserving your time and energy .
I would like to tell a short story about a friend of mine called Adam. This friend of mine has the ability to charm, allure by the agreeable qualities he possess (handsomeness, eloquence….). we are both in the same level in the institution and it happens that he is the social director of his faculty and just 24 hours after he met this 100 level female student, presenting her a pack thereafter sex ensued.. You are too irresistible; said by the girl. This is crystal clear, this isn’t romantic love but a product of sexual drive.
Scientist know that SEROTONIN reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), such as Zoloft (sertraline) and Prozac (fluoxetine), are antidepressant medications which work by raising brain levels of serotonin.
Serotonin’s effects on a range of functions tend to be inhibitory. In other words, it reduces sexual behavior, sexual drive, and suppresses sexual appetite…. Although this has no or less effect but the only accepted context for sex is marriage , approved by your parent, religion and registered by the state.
Sex is the opposite of football; everybody talks about football, how many plays it? But sex, everybody is doing it but nobody wants to talk about it..
Let’s try to eschew the sexual drive but rather concentrate on how to make a good relationship with one another.
